my sunday (non) sports diary

there was no match this weekend so it was off the gambling den again. it was at okx's (host count=3) place again. It was the original brady bunch (thaijames, okx, bigboss sam and moi) again. I lost again.

Before we arrived at okx's place, we were harrassed by two desperate single ladies outside century square.

okay, i dunno whether were they single or not. however, they indeed harrassed us to get a AC Nielson's johnny walker's survey done. bigboss sam and i declined but they managed to rope in thaijames. in the end, he got a $5 starbucks voucher.

after that, we headed over to shop n save to aquire some supplies for the night. here are some of the items we bought:

1>> 03 times nissin cup noodles (two crab and satu chicken)
2>> 01 times frito lay pretzel (yuk... too salty)
3>> 03 times mentos
4>> bigboss sam bought some condoms
5>> bigboss sam bought some condoms
6>> oh... did i mention bigboss sam bought some condoms and it was the unique raised dots for enhanced pleasure and intensity kind? (see below for digram)

he told us he was planning something after the session. us not included.

anyway, we went over to shihlin's, got snacks and proceeded to okx house.

the whole family was there this time round. okx's parents and his two bros.

we, of course, like all polite young adults, exchanged some pleasantries. it went something like this:

us: so sorry to bother you all every weekend. huh..

okx parents: oh, it's okay. no bother, no bother. we are glad you guys come and accompany okx or else he wouldn't know what to do anyway... hee hee.

okx bros: - silent -

us: ha ha yeah yeah. thanks, thanks...

during the game, we noticed thaijames was not himself. in terms of the game and the number of insults to okx. he was losing and the insults were few and far in between. okx ventured to ask what was wrong but got nothing.

later, when we were having noodle break, he informed us that his gf lost a thousand over tag heuer earlier in the day.

i am guessing that was what was bothering thaijames. maybe, he felt guilty that he wasn't with his gf to console her. yes, like all typical human being that we all are, he choose mahjong over love.

the session was very smooth and quick. two rounds, four and half hours and we were done. bigboss sam went on to do what he was suppose to do and the rest of us went home.
