tit

Yes, you heard me. TIT. The english language has been, in its subtle ways, pretty feminine.

Words like "insTITutions", "atTITude", "consTITution", "TITillating", "quanTITative", and many more contained the word "tit" which means breast, of course.

I am probably not alone on this... Right?

SIN CITY IS BLOODY SINFUL!!!

Notice I capitalised the headline?

I am a huge fan of the original graphic novel by the master Frank Miller. Robert Rodriguez simply put panel after panel onto the big screen.

Notice I say "graphic novel" instead of "comic book"?

Therefore, I am not going to post any bias review of the movie.

Meaning:
You HAVE to watch it!!!

a blog odyssey leh

I changed my blog's URL for two reasons.

Firstly, to correct the spelling.

Finally, to add some more Singapore flavour to the blog.

Killer

I don't like to talk politics. But, I definitely don't like people who ruin other people's life.

my sunday soccer diaries

We lost 1-2 today.

But, the main things are:

1>> I played the whole match...

2>> ... I won most of the headers I went up for...

3>> ... and that how I injured my chest...

4>> ... and discovered that i probably should hang up my boots...

5>> ... because everytime I play soccer, I get injured.

Blimy.

get behind me satan!

Get behind me, Satan! I did badly on a job interview and I will sell you my soul for you to do your dirty miracles!

Waitaminute... what am i talking about? I am suppose to write a review on The White Stripes' new album Get Behind Me Satan.

Besides that, I am an atheist. I don't believe in the devil or god for that matter. (Notice I didn't capitalise "god".)

Anyway, I bought the duo's new album along with Foo Fighters'.

I noticed they are both considerable softer than their past attempts. Foo Fighters' In Your Honor even got Norah Jones as guest vocal on one of the songs. although, that was what swayed me into buying. Plus, it a double CD. Great marketing by Foo Fighters.

I like The White Stripes because they sound so much like the unprentious classic rock sound I loved so much. Especially, their previous album's (Elephant) Seven Nation Army. They continued with it whole heartedly which is great. Also, they don't have gimmicks like having Norah Jones or Pharrell Williams as collaborators.

Foo Fighters did what they always do so well in this new release: OST like tracks. I am really not surprise if a few of their songs get on to a movie soundtrack.

meaning:
If you love good old hard rock go get The White Stripes' Get Behind Me Satan no matter what. In fact, if you don't got their last album, Elephant, get it too. Both will add very well to your great hard rock CD collection.

Give Foo Fighters' In Your Honor a miss if you are not their fan.

Neil Gaiman @ kino

I was there to let him sign my "1602" and Gabby's "Doll House" on 5 July.

I was not much of a fan so I was astounded by the fact that he has a huge fan base! And 50% of them are ladies!

I queue for about two hours and was no where near.

Luckily, I found help in the form, of all people, Scout Glenn! He was back from Oz for a week. I found him way infront when I decided to give up and just wanted to take some photos of Gaiman.

Scout Nic and Scout Vic were there too.

Here are some real badly taken photos:

In the end, Scout Glenn only managed to get my "1602" signed. Well, that's okay if I haven't promised to treat him a meal. Heck.
